Welcome to Cassette Tape (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), a retro cassette-styled language study media player. This Privacy Policy explains how 7Friends (an individual developer, hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our") protects the privacy of our users.

1. Local & On-Device Data Processing

The App provides offline speech-to-text transcription to generate subtitles for language learning.

• On-Device Transcription: All audio and video files you load into the App are processed locally on your device using an on-device AI speech-to-text (STT) engine. No voice recordings or media files are uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud.
• Local Storage: Your local app settings, playlists, loops, bookmarks, and local file metadata are stored securely on your device using local storage (Shared Preferences). This data is wiped when you uninstall the App.

2. Information Collection and Third-Party Services

To provide features, improve stability, and support development, we integrate specific third-party services. These services may collect anonymous or identifier-based information.

3. Required Device Permissions

The App requests access to certain device permissions to perform its core features. You can grant or revoke these permissions in your system settings at any time:

• Foreground Service & Background Audio Playback: Allows the App to play your audio/video lessons in the background or when the screen is turned off.
• Notifications: Enables playback controls (play, pause, skip) and media status to be displayed in your device's notification panel.
• Internet: Necessary to request advertisements via AdMob, fetch translation results from the MyMemory API, and submit anonymous crash logs/analytics.
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT) / Advertising ID: Used to request consent to use your device's advertising identifier to serve personalized ads.

4. How to Opt-Out & Manage Your Preferences

You can control the collection and processing of your identifier-based data through your device settings:

1. Personalized Advertisements:
   • iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and toggle off the tracking permission for "Cassette Tape".
   • Android: Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Ads, and choose to "Reset advertising ID" or "Delete advertising ID".
2. Notification Controls: You can disable notifications at any time via Settings > Apps/Notifications > Cassette Tape > Notifications.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not target or knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

7Friends(이하 "개발자")는 개발자가 서비스하는 모바일 애플리케이션 카세트 테이프(이하 "앱")를 이용하는 사용자의 개인정보를 보호하고, 관련 법령을 준수하기 위해 본 개인정보처리방침을 수립합니다.

1. 온디바이스(기기 내) 데이터 처리 및 로컬 저장

본 앱은 어학 학습을 위한 음성 인식 자막 생성(Speech-to-Text) 기능을 오프라인 환경 기반으로 제공합니다.

• 기기 내 음성 인식 처리: 사용자가 학습을 위해 재생하는 오디오 및 비디오 파일은 기기 내부의 로컬 AI 음성인식 엔진을 통해 기기 내에서 직접 텍스트로 변환됩니다. 사용자의 음성 데이터 및 미디어 파일은 외부 서버로 절대 업로드되지 않습니다.
• 로컬 데이터 저장: 사용자의 북마크 정보, 재생 속도 및 반복 구간 설정, 로컬 파일 메타데이터 등은 기기 내 저장소(Shared Preferences)에만 저장되며, 앱 삭제 시 기기에서 즉시 함께 삭제됩니다.

2. 개인정보 수집 항목 및 제3자 서비스 제공

앱의 안정적인 서비스 제공, 품질 개선 및 광고 게재를 위해 아래와 같은 제3자 SDK 및 외부 API를 연동하여 사용하고 있으며, 이 과정에서 암호화되거나 익명화된 식별 정보가 처리될 수 있습니다.

3. 기기 권한 요청 및 사용 목적

앱은 안정적인 핵심 기능을 수행하기 위해 모바일 기기의 특정 권한을 사용자에게 요청합니다. 해당 권한은 언제든지 기기 설정에서 거부하실 수 있습니다:

• 포그라운드 서비스 및 백그라운드 오디오 재생: 화면이 꺼지거나 다른 앱을 사용할 때도 어학 오디오/비디오 학습이 끊김 없이 재생되도록 하기 위해 필요합니다.
• 알림(Notification) 권한: 기기 알림창에서 백그라운드 재생 상태를 확인하고, 재생/일시정지/이동 등의 미디어 컨트롤러를 표시하기 위해 사용됩니다.
• 인터넷(Internet) 권한: AdMob 광고 로드, MyMemory 번역 요청 수행, Firebase 익명 통계 및 크래시 보고 전송을 위해 필요합니다.
• 앱 추적 투명성(ATT / 광고 식별자 접근): 사용자 맞춤형 광고를 제공하기 위해 기기의 광고 식별자 접근을 요청합니다.

4. 개인정보 수집 거부 및 철회 방법

사용자는 모바일 기기 설정을 통해 언제든지 개인정보의 수집/처리 동의를 철회하거나 통제할 수 있습니다:

1. 맞춤형 광고 차단 및 광고 식별자 재설정:
   • iOS: 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적 > "카세트 테이프" 앱의 추적 허용 토글을 비활성화합니다.
   • Android: 설정 > 보안 및 개인정보 보호 > 개인정보 보호 > 광고 > "광고 ID 재설정" 또는 "광고 ID 삭제"를 선택합니다.
2. 푸시 알림 비활성화: 설정 > 애플리케이션 > 카세트 테이프 > 알림 > 알림 허용을 비활성화합니다.

5. 아동의 개인정보 보호

본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인식별정보를 의도적으로 수집하거나 요구하지 않습니다.
