Our App is designed to prioritize your privacy. The primary data collection and storage mechanisms are as follows:

Local Storage (SQLite)

The vast majority of your data, including vehicle details, maintenance records, and fuel logs, is stored locally on your device using a local SQLite database. We do not transmit this data to our servers.

Images and Camera Access

The App requires access to your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to upload photos for vehicle records, maintenance receipts, and other related items. These images are stored locally on your device.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

We use Google ML Kit for on-device Text Recognition (OCR) to extract information from receipts. This processing happens locally on your device, and the image data is not sent to external servers for OCR processing.

2. Cloud Backup via Google Drive

The App offers a backup feature that allows you to securely save your data (SQLite database and local images) to your personal Google Drive account.

• Google Sign-In: To enable this, the App uses Google Sign-In for authentication.
• App Data Scope: We specifically request the drive.appdata scope. This means your backup file (a compressed .zip archive) is stored in a hidden application data folder within your Google Drive. This prevents you or other apps from accidentally accessing, modifying, or deleting these backup files through the standard Google Drive interface.
• Data Access: We only access the specific backup file created by our App to facilitate backup and restore operations. We do not access, view, or manage your other Google Drive files.

3. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the performance and stability of the App, we use Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how users interact with the App, which helps us improve features and user experience.
• Firebase Crashlytics: If the App crashes, Crashlytics automatically collects crash reports (which may include device state information, operating system version, and stack traces) to help us identify and fix bugs.

These tools collect data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information (PII) is intentionally linked to this analytics or crash data by us.

4. Third-Party Services
